A woman named ALIA holds the body of her 12-year-old child ULA who passed away on the truck to a Trauma Stabilization Point two hours previously in West Mosul, Iraq on July 5, 2017. She said it was from lack of food and water as they were trapped in the Old City during the battle with ISIS. Her husband died from a mortar. She clutched the tiny body and would not let medics take her, hoping to bury her child with relatives in East Mosul. Civilians, many injured and weak, flee continued battle with ISIS in West Mosul amid ruins of the city.
